Veronica - Blue Streak
The Veronica Blue Streak, ‘Veronica spicata’, is an easy to grow perennial that adds beauty to any garden. This Veronica produces wonderful spikes of lavender blue flowers that bloom from June till September. With its brilliant green foliage, it has a plant height of 18′? and a spread of 18-24′?. ‘Blue Streak’? needs a full sun area with well-drained soil. Deadhead the flowers after the first bloom to prolong its bloom time.Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings or along borders. Try ‘Blue Streak’? with Hemerocallis ‘Stella de Oro’? or Veronica ‘White Icicles’?. Veronica is great for the first time gardener plus it is deer resistant. PPAF
