Clivia Variegata

“The result of 25 years’ breeding from Clivia expert Joe Solomone, this very rare, variegated form of Clivia miniata exhibits stunning silver or yellow striation on every 18- to 24-inch-long leaf. Bred for superior vigor, these mature, seedling-raised plants have all bloomed within the past year. Most of the flowers are tangerine-orange, but an occasional rare yellow has crept in — a real prize for the Clivia connoisseur! Culture like other Clivias: a sunny exposure in the house, with moisture-retentive soil and a good feeding in late summer and fall. In full bloom, Variegata is 18 inches tall, 18 to 24 inches wide. Zones 9-10.”
